Finally Open for Saturday Lunch at MXCO!
The time has come! For the next two Saturdays, we’re opening for lunch from 12:00 and inviting you to a lively Blockparty experience with all the extras. We’ve kept your favorite dishes on the menu but also added two new ones we’re especially proud of: Barbacoa Cordero and Chilaquiles. Our Barbacoa Cordero features slow-cooked lamb shoulder, rich and infused with spices, served in our handmade tortillas for that authentic feel.
It’s a dish that brings out the true flavors of Mexican cuisine. And our Chilaquiles – crispy tortilla chips with vibrant salsa and generous toppings, from queso fresco to fresh herbs – offer you a taste journey right to the heart of Mexico City’s streets. We’re excited for you to come and celebrate with us!
This Saturday, Griffins is also celebrating big – their 14th anniversary! Erik Videgård will be spinning records during brunch, and later in the evening, he’ll step into the kitchen and dining room to create a unique experience. To join the celebration, we’re extending our lunch hours and offering a menu for all who want to toast with us.
Our nearby neighbor, Popina Vitti, is joining the festivities with an aperitivo wine tasting in the afternoon, featuring selected wines from Pompette. It’s the perfect way to embrace the weekend spirit.
Next weekend, we’re taking the celebrations even further! On November 2, we’ll honor Día de Muertos all weekend long, beginning Friday evening with a Mariachi band playing live to set a magical atmosphere. On Saturday, we’ll be open all day again with menus and flavors celebrating this vibrant Mexican tradition.
Popina Vitti will join us once more, hosting an autumn market and wine tasting to bring in the perfect fall vibe. Throughout the week, Popina Vitti is also offering one of their classics – tiramisu – for all large groups who book their Familigia Combo menu. It’s a sweet ending to a wonderful dinner and the perfect way to gather friends and family.
